Your favorite Metal genre?

I'm kind of old school. As I was into 80's hardcore punk I also got into speed/thrash metal. Motorhead, Slayer, Helloween.

There was this great local speed metal band called Leviathan that was awesome. My hardcore band used to open for them. Good times.

Thrash for me, the big 4 informs most of my musical history. Along with this would be the british stuff like Sabbath, Priest and Maiden I guess. I'm such an old fart.

For me, it's easily Prog Metal.

Then Power, then Traditional.
