The UFC can't just turn people into stars, man. They have to have the 'it' factor. Stipe doesn't have that, whereas Ngannou does, I mean his whole aesthetic speaks 'baddest man in the world' whereas Stipe just looks like a normal white guy. Also Ngannou has a whole continent on his side (Africa) which the UFC can tap into and he has amazing and flashy performances which mostly end in finishes. Stipe is great but will never be a star.

i beleive they can greatly help turn people into stars, im not talking worldwide superstars which does take the "it" factor but into decent stars yes they can . Stipe has 5 ko's in a row, works a full time job as a fireman which is pretty friggin cool in the real world. Extremely well liked by his fellow fighters . If movie companys can promote shitty movies and get people to watch i think the ufc can get behind some of these great martial artists and promote them. They have immense media presence .
