It's time to get my life together and get this weight off for good. I'm putting my days of college eating behind me, and moving towards a healthier lifestyle. I have a big sweettooth that often leads me to searching the pantry like a crack addict.

9:30am - 1 cup of goji berries
4:00pm - 3lbs. of crab legs
4:30pm - 30 or so small shrimp
6:30pm - 16 ounces of milk, 4 tablespoons of Nesquik no sugar added chocolate milk mix
9:00pm - 1.5 cups of cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons blackberry jam
10:00pm - 5 fish oil pills

**I use fitday to track my calories so I'll be adding them to my log as well.

that is a lot of crab meat.
 
I'm a big fan of crab legs. I only get them once every other month so I go all out.

That is 3lbs. with the shells. I have no idea how much meat is in 3lbs. of crab legs. Fitday said there was 202 calories and 40g of protein.

I ordered some vanilla protein powder so I can start making my own protein bars. I got the Optimum Nutrition Vanilla Ice Cream flavored protein.

2:30pm - 20oz. of 1% milk, 4 tablespoons of Ovaltine
3:30pm - 2 Stringster cheese sticks
5:15pm - 20oz. of 1% milk, 4 tablespoons of Ovaltine
7:30pm - 1 Pepperidege Fam Deli Flat, 3 thin slices of ham, 2 slices of provolone cheese, 1 box of Green Giant Green Beans & Almonds

I ordered some vanilla protein powder so I can start making my own protein bars. I got the Optimum Nutrition Vanilla Ice Cream flavored protein.

How is the protein powder? i used the vanilla chai and liked it but im about to run out and im debating on the next flavor. also post the recipe ur using for your protein bars please.

I've never tried the vanilla ice cream flavor. I've been using the delicious strawberry flavor for the past year and I love it. It tastes awesome when mixed with milk, and isn't bad when mixed with water. I've tried cookies and cream and it was disgusting. It seemed to have a slight coffee flavor that wasn't very appealing.

I got my protein bar recipe off one of the threads on here.

Ingredients:
3.5 cups of oats
5 scoops of protein powder
4 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 cup of milk
1/3 cup of slivered almonds

Just mix and put into a nonstick tray.

well when ya try the vanilla let me kno. do u bake the bars? if so at what temp and how long?

No problem bro. I've read a bunch of reviews, and everybody has been pretty happy about the vanilla flavor. I don't bake the bars. Just mix them up, put them in a pan, then pop them in the fridge.

2:30pm - 1 serving of Metamucil, I was feeling a little constipated so I gave it a try. i think I might be consuming too much cheese, and it is screwing up my system.
5:45pm - 2 tablespoons of Naturally More peanut butter
6:30pm - One bag of Steamfresh mixed vegetables

I received my protein today so I went ahead and made some protein bars. I added some Splenda to sweeten up the bars a little bit. I went back and forth on whether or not to add goji berries to the batch. I decided not to, but I might throw some in next time.

I must say that I'm not as thrilled with the vanilla ice cream flavor as most people. I mixed it in water and it's okay, but nothing extraordinary. I best it is delicious when mixed with milk though. I think I'll stick with my strawberry flavor for shakes and just use the vanilla in protein bars.

8:30pm - 1 serving of baked cheetos, 20oz. of milk, 4 tablespoons of Ovaltine
9:30pm - 2 cups of homemade chicken noodle soup

**I think today will count as my cheat day.
