WTH?!?! Kellerman is a rapper?!?1

When I first saw this I thought he was pretty good, generally speaking. He was no NWA but still.

Max Kellerman and his brother Hammer

That's old...
Ruffhouse hasn't been a label for awhile.

That, and they quote an old Pharcyde song - "Passin me By".

"Pitty him like a Branch Davidian".

Speaking of 'The Hammer'...
Just watched a preview of it and Jeff Lacy's in it.

Check out all of the Hammer references.

Sam Kellerman was killed with a hammer, by the Harlem Hammer (James Butler).... and after that Max Kellerman was invited to a screening of the comedy boxing film "The Hammer".

kellerman acting gangsta just doesn't look right. Sounds like he is trying to dub House of Pain.

I thought that too!!!!
That would have been right around House of Pain's heyday too.
94', right when "Same As It Ever Was" dropped. Shaved head, gruff vocals.

Has anyone ever try to straight embarass Kellerman with this? Not on HBO, but I imagine they would put it to him on ESPN.

Actually, Everlast had a fade by then and rhymes about losing the skinhead on "Same". And to be fair the Sam and Max showed more complex flows than Everlast has in his whole career.

Classic 90's Hip Hop.

I'm sure the ESPN people have things like this in their closets, too.

I'm not so sure about that.

Check out Everlast's new video with La Coka Nostra.
That's Coke

The motherfuckin' svengali/
Mob boss got body in the XL Denali/
With the mossberg shotty/

Better than anything in the Max and Sam video.

sam and max actually had flow, as opposed to overusing a single verse backed by a pathetic, but catchy hook/chorus which is what 90% of the garbage rap songs on mtv today are.

Bodies drop from body shots/

No need for glocks or karate chops/

Everlast has stepped his game up recently with LCN. He doesn't want to get embarrassed too bad by Bill and Slaine. He's always been dope, but painfully basic, especially by today's lyrical standards (disregarding most of the trash in the mainstream).

Maybe it's just Max's smoother flow that does it for me more.
