You're telling me during the D-X/Nation feud, we never saw HBK vs. Rocky Maivia?
 
Shawn and Hunter didn't like The Rock.

I think they resented him because he waltzed straight in and was booked to beat Hunter for the IC strap just a couple of months after his debut.

Plus HBK wasn't in DX during the NOD feud. It was in 1998 when he was off with a back injury.

Hunter and Rock had a ton of great matches though.

Can't remember a Steamboat vs Mr Perfect match ??? .... Would've been great IMO

While Bret-Rock did have a RAW match I was taking into consideration it was a throwaway match. Bret-Hogan also had a forgettable match on Nitro that did not amount to much. I wanted a program where each guy was giving it their all.

Rock was not even much established as anything at the time.
