Wrestling didn't work against a roided to the tits Jones. That doesn't mean it won't work on a USADA era Jones who struggled to take down OSP and has since been busted and going to be tested even harder.

There's nowhere but down for DC right now. He's racing against the clock and isn't looking as good as he used to. It depends on how good Jones is coming back.

He can and should go for takedowns. He just needs to be smarter about it. DC's best success came from getting inside and boxing. He should focus on that, get Jones worried about it, and then hit a takedown once the opportunity presents itself.

Until round 4, Cormier initiated most of the clinching and wrestling. Jones just played defense. Once Cormier slowed down, Jones pushed the wrestling.

Cormier can't be so obvious about it the second time around.

Well, now he's got another long lay-off and he's not going against a borderline can like OSP.

Plus he won't have his PEDs and will likely be a little less strong with a little less cardio
