Wouldn't Greg Jackson and the rest of Jones camp HAVE to have known he was doing steroids?

There's a good chance they knew but its all just speculation.

I mean, come on, your top athlete is training at insane levels and you don't know what's going on? Lance Armstrong's cycling team sure as shit knew he was on something and went to great lengths to hide it AND get their other guys into the protocol.

Even the statement Jones' team put out doesn't deny he was doing steroids. Just that they were meticulous in avoiding the situation. What situation? Being caught, I'd assume.

"We are all at a complete loss for words right now. Jon, his trainers, his nutritionists and his entire camp have worked tirelessly and meticulously the past 12 months to avoid this exact situation,” read a statement from team Jones.

So, knowledgable peeps, is there any way Jones could have been juicing and his coaches and team NOT have known?
Greg Jackson: Go get some Jon Bonayy!
he was talking about steroids

Did you hear Jones on the JR podcast? Nah, he's not good a lying at all.

He's terrible at lying. He just lies a lot and the people around him have financial interest to believe him.

Very true, but did his lying convince Dana and Co. to give him the Main slot on the card, which Dana vowed not to give him one on his return? Or did his coaches/manager stick their necks out for Jon knowingly sumn fishy going with Jon's performance and physique..?

The whole "Jones is a weightlifter" seems very suspect now

You dont need all that if you are actively involved in all of it.

Frank Mir changed to Jacksons and also tested positive for the exact same steroid after that.
Its very obvious this is handled on a team level and they did not realise their doping regime
was outdated with new testing methods coming up.

Jacksons and ATT are as shady as they come.
Why suspect the coaches when it could very well be one or more of those dirty unsuccessful guys on the team as the PED peddler?

Because the team profits tremendously financial from the PED abuse without taking any more risk. Thats on the fighter.

You need a whole system in place to defeat USADA nowadays. Its not possible to just "have a guy". You need doctor, supplier, cover up..etc and thats exactly what the team provides. Having a shady team doctor, colleagues who help you (hiding..etc). Its no coincidence how cheaters find a common place at ATT and Jacksons and thats one of the big points why these gyms are that succesful.

Greg knows.

I'm not saying he advocates it or encourages it, but he definitely knows. It's a case of 'don't ask, don't tell'. Jones is his biggest cash-cow, his stellar pupil. He would never rock that boat but yeah, as a coach, he knows what his fighters are up to.
