Would you rather be a plumber or electrician?

One's more dirty than the other and the other is more dangerous... can't troubleshoot a lotta shit on a circuit that's turned off/ locked out/tagged out

Would you rather know how to repair/install anything and everything electrical in your home or repair/install anything and everything plumbing in your home?

I was a plumber for a while.....it's shitty work

No way I'd want to clean other peoples' shit for a living.

Im in the operating engineers union so i do a lot of both. Being a plumber sucks

no one wants to be a plumber. Especially not plumbers

my buddy is a plumber but also a general contractor on the side. he almost got electrocuted recently working on re-wiring some lights for the gym that we train at (there was another switch somewhere that he didn't know about) and he told me a story about the foreman at his old site where they were working on plumbing for a condo building and the poor guy died because of built-up pressure...basically the pipe had rusted significantly and the pressure blew it off and he was impaled by it.

Electricians generally make more money, don't deal with sewage and waste, and have a widely useful skill beyond setting up wires in the house. I'd be an electrician.

I tried sticking a plunger somewhere it shouldn't have been tried on...

Plumber seems too close to male porn star for me.

My uncle was an electrical contractor and I worked as an electricians helper for around a year. There were a lot of things I liked about the job but ultimately it wasn't for me. I worked with my cousin who is normally really cool and a great electrician, but we stopped getting along after awhile and he made it miserable for me. It was both good and bad working with family but when it started going bad the best thing to do was move on before a family relationship was ruined.

If it came down to it again, I'd much prefer to be an electrician.

neither
i would be bored shitless doing either. the only part i would enjoy is the manual labor, but i get plenty of that already and i dont have to deal with lowlifes in the trade industries.

Both are great and usually well paid professions.

There are a lot of similarities as well.
If you work in residential, you'll still be drilling through rafters and joists and studs in both professions.

If you work in commercial, you'll be swearing at that "fucking retarded architect" all day long.

Electrician so I can adapt to the life-style being thrust upon us by our globalist overlords.

conor was a plumber and quit to go on welfare and live off his girlfriend. Now he is the biggest con man in mma and about to make his retirement fund

So probably plumber.

I've done both - got shit on me and been shocked - will definitely take the shit

Would you rather watch your parents fuck 1500 times or join in once to stop it?
