I can see GSP willing to fight Maia.
What’s the consensus?
TS, you know GSP is the GOAT, right?
The colitis was the result of eating much larger quantities of food to gain weight for a fight at MW. He is a natural WW, so probably doesn't happen if GSP fights at 170.
Nobody applies grease like that guy.
WAR BJ PENN GOAT, THE FOREVER TRUE GOAT.
nope....that's not how colitis takes place.
I think the colitis had more to do with the MW landscape. But a Maia champ....sure, he'd probably he healthy. Though Maia is a BAD match up for that guy.
LOL he would have gotten colitis for any fighter not named Bisping.
Who in their right mind would choose to get colitis?
You know you can't be a GOAT when you're not capable of finishing your opponents for 5 YEARS right?
Also, GOATs don't tap to strikesLOL
Silva, Fedor, Jones = GOAT
Easiest jab fest of his life
He woulda fought him with colitis.. Ez fight for Georges
I doubt it. We have millions who eat too much food and don’t get it. He gained 10-15 lbs over several years. He wants nothing to do with fighters who he can’t take down easily and who have better speed and power. He knows his prime is gone. He will be better if a bog money cherry picked fight surfaces. I’m sure if injuries led to Bisping fighting for title again and he won, we’d see George up for a 185 rematch.
Actually, diet can have a very significant impact on colitis, and cause a flare up.
Say... doubling your protein intake to bulk up.
Says you. A win is a win. Finishing opponents can also happen by fluke at times. Domination leaves no question over who was better.
I like GSP but you are fucking fools if you think he gotz dat colitis..
gsp 50-45s maia
FALSE, the weight gain was not over several years. In addition, GSP was training hard which made gaining the extra weight more difficult which meant even more protein and calories to achieve net weight gains. The rest of your post is simply speculation. We shall see who GSP fights next or if he fights at all.
I speculate he got ulcerative colitis eating Red Herring
I don't think you even know what GOAT means because if you did you would know that 3 guys can't be the GOAT at the same time. Also Silva and Jones are fucking cheaters and shouldn't even be in the GOAT discussion. And Fedor fought in PRIDE so we kinda have to have skeptical hippo eyes on whether or not if he used PEDs. A win is a win doesn't matter if it's a finish or not
In a young person, athlete, without any history of the disease? Unlikely.
The question is not whether he suffers from it or not. It's the version that was offered to the public. If he has a history of UC, family history, and so on, it's one thing. If he doesn't, this claim that the diet to make MW is extremely unlikely to have caused it. Most likely he had really bad luck and you cannot correlate it to diet to easily.
But nobody knows, even his doctors can only speculate.
