If Dana's plan is to make mMA more mainstream, what better way than have Conor Beat Floyd. Question is what kind of backroom deal makes Floyd throw the fight.

Only other outcome I see is Conor committing fouls to get disqualified. Nothing about this farce has long term benefit to MMA among casual fans imo.

Would gsp tell us not to blink?
Would a bitch do nothing?
Would you fear the consequences?

Depends.. ego, legacy.

Or lots of cash and set up the rematch or trilogy.

Seems highly implausible. Throw away a perfect legacy that was crafted over 20 years of hard work for money? The guy is already stinking rich and will make 100 million just to show up.

That's not to mention all the legal trouble that would happen, because if someone throws a fight of that magnitude you better believe there are going to be lawsuits coming from all directions.

He's coming out of retirement for money
Why wouldn't he throw a meaningless fight for more money?
Especially since he loses nothing. Why would he care?

Nothing is more important to Floyd than his 0. His whole image and mystique is built up around being undefeated. No amount of money will make him give that up voluntarily.

This, plus like another poster said, he's already so fucking rich. Top that off with the money he'll make of this fight. They'll probably would need to come up with a offer that has 9 zero's behind it if they want him to throw that fight.

You clearly have never listened to him talk (you're the lucky one). Floyd values his 0 as much as he values his $$$
