Word Class trainer of former number 1 p4p boxer Andre Ward explains how Mcgregor Quit

For salty nuthuggers they are, lmao

Huge Conor fan but you totally destroyed us all with this thread and this response.

It sucks that Conor is a quitter but true fans like me can look past that.

Yeah but he won in rematch when both fighters had full camp ... Wasnt he not supposed to touch "full camp " diaz ?

Didn't Diaz have an injury during the camp and only got like half a camp because of a separated rib? Meanwhile McG had almost an entire year to train. Coulda sworn there was something about it.

Anybody who said that was stupid.

Diaz has never had any striking defense in his game, full camp or not.

The fact that Conor could barely beat someone with such a limited striking skillset shows how limited Conor's own skillset is if he can't get the early knockout.

Diaz said it so I guess he is stupid lol And Diaz got pretty good striking defense if the fights goes to stand up battle. The reason why he was getting tagged by lesser boxers than him was due to the threat of take down. This is evident when you compare his fight with Cowboy, MJ and Henderson, RDA.

Nobody beat Diaz in pure stand up game, let alone knocking him down multiple times. Saying that Conor's striking is limited based on this fight is pretty retarded.

Everyone sustains some types of injuries from the training camp. I was also told that Conor's leg was injured prior to the fight lol

Lol, Bendo outstruck him and knocked him down easy, Rory outstruck him, Rda destroyed him on the feet and Thompson outstruck him and koed him. Conor did the worst of them all struggling so much against a bum like Diaz.

Bendo used wrestling, RDA used wrestling Rory used wrestling, even Thompson didn't go full striking. literally everyone you listed utilized grappling to beat Diaz.

Hahahahahaha, the guy is in denial. They used wrestling when they felt like it. During the striking exchanges they destroyed him standing.

They used wrestling through out the whole fight. The threat of wrestling alone affected Diaz and it'd be abundantly clear if you actually watched the fight with a functioning brain.

So what if it effected him? He still got outstruck didnt't he? Don't be so salty lmao.

Your reaction to strikes changes when there is a thread of take down. You get caught by strike more easily since you have to worry about the impact from below. Use your brain.

Good call ... Conor always quits when faced with adversity, I remember him begging the ref to stand him up against a natural 135er Chad Mendes.

Conor's a great showman but he really does not have that fighter mentality

Conor: 1,2,3,4,8

In the 9th and 10th yes, but like the other guy said, 1,2,3, and arguably 4 and 8 were his, at least 4 and 8 were competitive which goes against the FLoyd dominates after 3 rounds theory. Conor landed his best punch in round four which was a slip uppercut, which hard to do. And the shots that Conor landed, may not mean anything if they came from Canelo. But were talking about a man who never boxed.

And as far as the coach's comments, not answering back after a minute of getting hit may get the fight stopped in boxing, but not MMA. As long as you're moving and still on your feet, the fight goes on. If on bottom position on the ground taking punches, it's a different evaluation. He could have been just trying to preserve his energy by not throwing punches. Make it through the round, and try to get his second wind.

If he had a well-rounded striking game and a gas tank he should be beating Nate Diaz no problem..... not struggling to beat him in a decision. Nate has zero footwork and his defense is to eat punches.

And..... yeah, Diaz is pretty dumb.

Again, well rounded striking game doesn't get you too far against Diaz without offensive wrestling. You haven't gave me a single example where a guy beating Diaz with pure striking other than Conor.
