I hear what you´re saying, and I agree, it´s not gonna be easy to take Woodley down.... but Maia has faced good grapplers before, and in reality, since his 1st fight in the ufc, everybody knows exactly what he´s gonna do, and he´s still able to do it.

Woodley is like a tank, and if Maia can't get him down, he's fucked, plain and simple. His striking looked not very good vs Masvidal and an overhand right from Tyrone could spell trouble

It's too bad Maia won his last fight, I would've liked to see Masvidal vs Woodley. Hopefully it happens soon, especially if he gets past Thompson.

I'm so tired of these one dimensional Brazilian BJJ fighters that have horribly sloppy striking, and make the sport look so bad when it's just a stand up fight. It's 2017. Exactly. It´s easier for Maia to prepare for a guy like Woodley who´s a wrestler with a big right hand and nothing else, than the opposite.... noone in Woodley´s camp can emulate the type of bjj expertise that Maia brings to the table, he´s multiple levels above anyone else.
