Woodley has yet to fight a wrestler during his title run

Usman vs Woodley will be even more boring than the Thompson fights. They will negate each other's wrestling and it'll turn into a tentative boxing match.

Less so wrestlers and more so wrestlers that can strike and so mix things up when needed. Woodley had rough times with Rory, Shields, and Kelvin because they could wrestle with him but also put him on the defensive with striking (Shields isn't a good/dangerous striker, but has a lot of output). If Maia had a gas tank and more faith in his striking he would have done a lot better as Woodley fought completely defensively in that fight, worrying only about the td, much like how Till fought completely defensively against Woodley and that lead to Till's loss because Woodley could then be a threat on two planes.

And there aren’t any wrestlers who have stand up as effective as Woodleys.
