Woodley did fight the clear #1 contender 3 times in a row.

I think Woodley is an underrated draw. Woodley vs wonderboy was on the first NY card and did 1.3 million buys. lots of ppl saw him.

He did 300k in the rematch of a draw. Ppl weren't really excited for that rematch at all. still did 300k, bigger than Holm, DJ, Nunes, Tony Fergouson.

300k is a decent # and then was on the Cormier vs Jones 2 PPV....did about 860k lots of ppl watched. He is an underrated draw, not huge but def middle of the pack

Lol he gets no credit for being on a card headlined by a draw.

Lol he gets no credit for being on a card headlined by a draw. Thats like saying Nunes is a draw because she was on a Conor card.

Still he headlined Woodley vs Wonderboy 2 and it was the 3rd biggest PPV of the year behind Jones vs Cormier (which he was on) and GSP vs Bisping

FACTS!

You're forgetting UFC 210 and UFC 211

Who has he fucked up? Woodley is one of the weakest champs in the division.

woodley did more buys than those 2 cards.

Woodley vs Wonderboy 2 did more than cards headlined by Cormier, Micoic, Holm, Nunues, Aldo, Halloway, Romero, Whittaker, Fergouson, JDS, Rumble Johnson.

He's a bigger draw than everyone but Jones(can't fight) Conor(doesn't fight) and GSP(doesn't know if he wants to fight)

Im sure it has nothing to do with them being afraid of losing. Tyron is sooooo unskilled, according to Sherdog, yet he fucked up numerous people that spanked Rory and still has his belt. This is not about him not being a draw. People are afraid of losing to him, and the fact that is also not being called out shows the bias going on.
If Tyron is allowed to express his interest in "money fights" against guys in a weight class lower than his without being labelled a coward when hes openly tried to duck all said challengers but was denied. Then the guys he's calling out get to rebuttal with "nah no one cares about a title fight involving Tyron Woodley" and be given the same respect.

No one is disputing that Woodley is the champ. That aside, he is pretty much the worst champ in recent history. His 3 title defenses are up there in all time worst title defenses in the UFC.

Not to mention, he is annoying as hell, plays the race card frequently (all the while ignoring the hoops the UFC jumped through for Jones, or the promotion the Anderson Silva, Rumble Johnson, and even Cormier have gotten).

Can't wait for him to lose and someone that actually throws more than 8-9 strikes per round shows up.

Woodley gets fare more disrespect than is warranted.

People call him Boodley for christ sake :)

Wonderboy was without question the unanimous #1 contender, even beat Robert Whittaker on his path to the title. Woodley fought him twice!!!!

Then fought Maia right after that. Before Maia fought Masividal, everyone was saying he already deserved a title shot. The UFC even promised him a title shot, he still went out and beat Masividal anyway...making it even more clear he was the #1 unanimous contender at WW. Woodley fought him.

Unlike Conor who never defends or Bisping who fought a senior citizen, Woodley went out and fought the #1 contender.

He deserves a money fight imo
He fought on 205 and 214 with ppv points. He doesnt deserve anything.

If he had taken advantage of those platforms HE would a money fight. He shit the bed tho. Fight the next man up like MM has done.

He's not a victim, he deserves nothing more than defend his belt vs real contenders. If that's GSP jumping the line so be it. But hitching his wagon to LW who isn't even top 5 is pathetic.
