Since Sonnen is obviously in America it's really easy to test him at any time. But Silva will be training in Rio for this whole fight and I guess flying to NYC a week before the fight or something. Assuming they don't test him during his camp, then he can use whatever he wants while training and then just cycle off come the fight.
