Been about 15 years since the last big HW fight Lewis v Tyson. Was,a bunch in the 90s even not counting Tyson with Evander, Bowe, Lewis , Moore, Foreman etc. The 80s has Tyson , Spinks , Holmes...... 70s of course Ali.

Seems like the HW division was great for a long time then after Lennox it just died when the Klitschko bro took over. For a decade it seemed like the only big fight would of been Brother v Brother as it seemed there was nothing else. We're the Klitckos just that good and made everyone look like 2 d tier or was it really not a lot other than them for a long time?

Will tbe HW division ever be what was again or is ww , mw , LHW the new normal for the big fights in boxing?

There was literally a massive stadium fight that shattered all box office records just days ago, m8.

This is either a long troll job or you haven't got a brain.

Perfect timing for this thread.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's already returning big time.

People were also people saying heavyweight boxing was dead and boring when Lewis, Holyfield, and Moorer (and others) were fighting.

There was no shortage of sloppy heavyweight matches nor fights that should have been big but were boring (Lewis vs Tua).

Last Saturday HW boxing came back in a big way. It's been brewing.

While the post-Vitali/Wladmir era has been... mostly dull and baron of heat, Deontay Wilder is developing buzz here in the US, Anthony Joshua is like Wilder, undefeated and a puncher, he's now major in the UK.

Wladmir Klitschko is the former champ and he is still fighting, and, worthy of note, Wilder and Joshua and Klitschko, these guys can be exciting boxers... and they can have snoozers.

Then again there will always be great fights and great bores.

Then you have Tyson Fury, the champion who is still a dark horse despite beating Klitschko, because, despite his very good record, he has looked vulnerable in past outings to wide punches (like vs. Steve Cunningham) and general sloppiness. He is good. Hopefully he can return at least in the form he was vs. Klitschko. Or maybe he will go the same route Buster Douglas went on back in 1992. History does repeat itself.

I think it's getting better. Joshua-Klitschko got me back in! Let's see Joshua-Wilder or, Joshua-Fury I say. Klitschko-Wilder. There's some potential here!

Joshua vs Klitschko sold out a 90,000 stadium, broke U.K. Ppv records (1.5million +) and was watched by over 10 million in Germany. I'd say it's back.

Did the TS mean on a consistent basis again? Or where's the one lineal undisputed HW champ?Either way lets get these belts unified!
