Will GSP be remembered as a multi divisional champ for beating Bisping?

Remember when Dana canceled the fight before Whittaker vs Romero because of overwhelming reaction from the fans?
Funny how it only happened because Bob had a injury.

Remembered is a big word. He'll be considered a 2 divisional champ and he'll be mostly remembered for his run at WW.

not his strongest feat, opponent is worse than most of his notable WW wins. more like

1-3: Hendo, Penn, Randy

4: Conor
5: GSP

A win's a win, and a belt is a belt. GSP is a former two division champion with no current titles.

it doesn't matter what people say,he did it. I was disappointed as hell that mike lost, but gsp put him away clean.

I don't view anyone as a 2 division champion that doesn't defeat contenders to earn the title.

Most have been handed their 2nd championship with little work making it a joke.

Huge fan of the Count but let’s be real here he won that title because Rockhold shit the bed. He deserved to be champ for all the years he’s put in, and he took the belt by a brutal stoppage, but if we are using reality as a standard Bisping was one of the weakest champs in UFC history. Still a champ, but many feel he was undeserving, which would in turn make GSPs championship null also.

it doesn't matter what people feel, the reality is GSP is a 2 division champ. The weakest champion will always be greater than the strongest contender

like you said TS, bisping was one of the weakest champs but still the champ. gsp beat bisping, so he was the MW champ until he vacated.

Yes he will. Same way Conor will, Hendo will, BJ will, and Randy will.

There has never in the history of MMA been a multi division champion who earned their titles the hard way. They are all a result of favourable marketing and luck.

Was Bisping the MW champ? Yes?
Okay then there is your answer.

Bisping ktfo luke to win the title, than defends against hendo then LOSES the title to GSP.. not only will he go down as the GOAT, he will certainly ne remembered as a two weight champ. Multiple pro fighters list gsp as the goat, i dont know how anyone can argue that.. the only legitimate but losing argument is fedor..

Hendos MW title win was against Bustamante (and a split decision). That's no better than Bisping and Alvarez.

Dan has notable HW wins as well. All combined are better than the 1 (or a few) wins at LW & MW Conor and GSP have.

Only GSP could be retired for 4 years, past his prime with 2 ACL injuries aged 36 go up in weight and win the MW title and still have people trying to downplay what he done

<DisgustingHHH>

Because people like you are insinuating that Bisping was the real champ when he defended against a dinosaur and and a Welter weight instead of fighting one of the legit top fighters in the division.

Then GSP drops the belt instead of fighting any of the aforementioned contenders.

GSP beating Bisping is a decent win. But it's not much different than Cerrone going up to Welter weight and beating a decent fighter.

Bisping is probably the 7th or 8th best fighter in the division. It's a solid win, but the "my gawd GSP 2 division champ goat goat goat," nonsense is laughable.

he's such a scrub........

the people trying to downplay his achievement are delusional. The best 10 years ago, and today. No one will compare for a long time.

That's absolutely not true lol. Is GSP stronger than Romero or Whitaker since they never were given the chance to fight Bisping?

That's nonsense.
