Christian Zionists in the US have a different viewpoint on this from say Labour Zionists in Israel.

Well, if a country or region with countries that are all religiously the same, is still not a catholic homeland then I have to ask you what a Catholic Homeland is.
The problem is that most of the only people who follow the conflict closely are Christian zionists who a lot of have end times stuff in mind and don't usually support a two state solution. And dumb college types who think Palestinians can do no wrong. They view the conflict with the single lens of oppressed vs oppressor and support dead end projects like BDS that if all three demands are met means no Israel.
How are you going to convince Jewish Israelis to give up their national project and be a minority in the Middle East? Some bands not performing is Israel isn't going to do it. BDS hurts the left wing in Israel the most. They would be the ones going to concerts. How is BDS empowering the left wing in Israel to gain power? It isn't at all. The right wing uses it to prop up nonsensical fears. Meanwhile Sodastream is sold for 3.2 billion to Pepsi.

There is no such thing. The closest analogy would be turning Israel into a Catholic country. Israel is not just a country, it is a country founded on a religion -- existence. Its flag is the Star of David. There is no other religion, or country, in the world like that. That is where most people miss the point. There is no need for a Catholic homeland just like there is a need for a Jewish homeland. Imagine if all other religions in the world, other than Judaism, decided to have a homeland. Again, why don't Catholics have a military? What about Buddhism?
A homeland would restrict the country to only one religion. Yes, Israel has other religions from Judaism, a very small percentage, but Judaism rules Israel. Christianity does not rule the United States.
