He was confident in the styles match-up

Randy was known for being an upset guy, delivering when a lot of people felt he would get stomped.

Lyoto was a real bad match for him but Randy always wanted to test himself and Machida was certainly a challenge for him from a game planning perspective.

randy had a good game plan, he was just much too slow to execute it the way i guess he thought he could. I liked the fight, i thought randy did well in the beginning.. u know until he lost lol.
