Why isn't Sergei Kharitoniv in the heavyweight grand prix?

Kharitoniv is a monster. Over the span of his career beat the whose who of MMA, why isn't he in the grand prix? He has a chance to win the whole thing. He is only 38 years old.

I watched both their Bellator fights. Its exactly who I'm thinking of. I knew about him long before I knew of the UFC fighter.

Too old. He also did a bunch of K1 fights mainly using his boxing skills which most likely lowered his future quality of life. He did stop the one of the incarnations of Ubereeem when he was starting his bodybuilding career....
