That is the thing with the UFC rankings. They are just made to hype a certain fighter. They Are not real.

What sucks is that the socalled independent mma media Are also "forced" by the UFC to rank guys high, even if they don't deserve to be in the top 10.

Just one example. Nate was rank 8 LW, a week before it was announced he would fight Conor as a late replacement. After they announced the fight for 196. All of a sudden he jumped up to rank 5.
