Because WWE creative is crap. Braun organically became the most over guy in their roster and their plan is to turn him heel because they want Roman to be over instead of pushing Braun to become a mainstream success. WWE booking has been terrible for several years now. Like they don't even plan to create new stars. It's sad to say this but Ronda is the only one that can be considered a "star" these days. Everyone even Braun and Daniel Bryan are not over enough to be noticed by mainstream media. If WWE doesn't create new superstars now it will bite them in the ass when people like Cena retires.

Vince McMahon has invested too much into Roman Reigns. Everything will be tried in order to get their investment over. I've read that on a good night Raw will drop 400k views in the last hour of the programme so I can only imagine the WWE are trying to get blood out if a stone in this predicament. It looks as though the WWE have the new Lex Luger which is a shame as he's better than Lex overall imo.
