Why is the reason 12-6 elbows are not allowed?

Why is the reason 12-6 elbows are not allowed by nevada? They are used in muay thai and they can be super useful in GnP.
 
Because karate guys used to snap fake wood boards with 12-6 elbows and idiot people in power thought you could snap a head in half with the same technique.

but there are techniques to protect from that
 
elbows should be banned .
 
Rogan has said that the ban was developed after a demonstration by a martial artist breaking blocks of ice with elbow strikes.
 
They were usurped by Corey Anderson's far superior 25/8 elbows.

Just ban elbow 12-6 strikes to the eye with elbows. Problem solved. All other areas off limit like spine and throat are good enough. 12-6 will be legalised soon enough but I bet they address the eye concern.
 
We need 12-6 elbows except to eye socket, upkicks, and knees to head anywhere
