He's already in the UFC. Isn't he taking a spot that someone else really needs?
Perhaps, but his is a unique story about his family and all which the UFC thinks made for great tv. Maybe this is their way of pushing him as a fighter, making him a fan favorite and compelling to the audience. With him adopting his little sister, it makes people actually care about him as opposed to someone like Julian Lane.
To kick ass and take names.
Money (minimum 250K iirc)and he wanted to prove he could win the show after losing his fight to get in the house in a previous season.
The fact that he is already signed makes me automatically root against him.
For redemption for losing last tuf spot
According to him "he doesn't need the money" (but I'm willing to bet it's definitely a motivator), and moreso that he's always been a bit sore of losing his fight into the house on his TUF season.
This is him proving that he could have beaten that tournament. But that 250k is a nice little bonus
Hows Lane doing anyway?
Found him pretty dull, not that impressive in his fight and the toes thing....whatever floats your boat but it looked weird as fuck.
Ain't about money, James at lest appears to be loaded if instagram would have you believe it
.. maybe it's all about.. wait for it...
He hasn't had a "Bang bro" moment yet. Tbh, he's been pretty chill this whole season so far, and really in all the media I've seen him in. I'm starting to think he's not as much of a meathead as he showed in his last season.
I guess it just goes to show you can't judge someone by a bad moment.
Watch the previews for the next episode lol
just watched it xD
I legit hope he wins the show.
I like Krause a lot. He strikes me as a guy who wants to better himself and has put some thought into how he wants to go about achieving that.
Doing TUF for the exposure, painting his toenails to stand out, dressing for success, staying out of the house drama... it's all part of his brand strategy. He's a business man on a business trip.
he wants the money
Mystery solved. Can't speak for the guy (obviously) but I don't get the victory-or-death vibe from him like his honour is on the line. My money is on him marketing himself - no shame in that either, IMO.
I do agree with TS though - I'm sure you could find 50 other blokes who haven't food in the fridge who would kill for that spot and to right a past wrong.
