Just a couple of years ago he went on an eight fight win streak at lightweight then he went 4-0 to start off at Welterweight. Now he's 1-4 in his last five and got handily beaten by Masvidal, Till, and Edwards. He's not that old, only 35. Why is he so bad now compared to what he once was? Do disappointing to watch as a huge fan.

Mileage, he’s been in the fight game a long time. He’s still a badass but his time at WW is done, back to LW to kick some ass hopefully.

If he was Brazilian the answer would be "USADA"

He drinks like 5 beers a day. It catches up with you.

He's never really had hands or head movement. He fights anyone near his size he gets lit up.

That 1-4 record happened in June alone. Dude fights a minimum of twice a month.

Age is just a number.

Cerrones old at 35.
Shogun was old at 30
Hell, Riddick Bowe was done at 28 after his wars with Golota

Age is just a number

he's fought like 97 times already so im kinda surprised that he is still functioning normally.

vs. Lawler was pretty damn close, and Edwards was a great fight.

Plus this was recent. He fights a lot.

Besides he has already had a failed drug test

Its called taking every and any fight u can. Smart fighters map out their opponents. Donald just goes in for the tackle with his head down. Stupid. Hes a gatekeeper imo. i dont care to watch him fight anymore

he moved up to ww and keeps fighting very talented fighters. he had a good initial run at ww, but shit catches up to you when you’re not really better than other guys....

war Donald but it’s a tough sport to put runs together...and sometimes you’re on the wrong side of a run...

on the top of all things mentioned he had sirious accident on quad

He's becoming very insecure about his receding hairline finally.

44 fights, 26 of them in the UFC. He has a ton of mileage. The average age of a male top ten UFC fighter = 31.4 years old. So, Cerone is also old. Fighting is a young mans' game.

Been in a lot of wars

Weigh cuts fucked up his body

Getting older

Shit boxing

Folds when facing a good striker who can pressure him.

35 is usually around the age people start falling off.

Lots of mileage, beer, not evolving, and bad stylistic match ups.
