As a huge fan of heavyweight boxing even through the dark ages I have always enjoyed cw action. I like watching the small heavyweights tyson, Holyfield, haye the guys always have entertaining fights most of the time. These days with the giants running the division you would think some small heavyweights would cut too cruiserweight.

But cw seems like the lost division in boxing and I don't get it people want great heavyweight action cw is like a mini hw division. Why is there no coverage of this division tv doesn't even follow it.

I have witnessed some wars in this division but have stopped following lately can someone fill me in on upcoming fights where to watch them done fighters too watch?

What if the division put the weight up to 215 changed the name to hw made anything over super heavyweight. This way guys like adamek, haye, huck, Pablo, povetkin, Perez, chisora, eddie chambers etc could make this an entertaining division

Do you think it's the name tht holds this division back and if it was hw and super hw champions like adamek and haye wouldn't move up

Part of the appeal of 140 is that guys will eventually go up to 147 and challenge the big names there

At CW that doesn't happen much

That's a bit of fun taken out of the mix

I don't understand why TV doesn't cover it though, good fights, big guys, good champions - Is there really more demand for Alexander v Porter?

The Crusierweight power being OUTSIDE America is a big deal too

All those guys can fight each other right now at HW without changing a thing and make the HW division entertaining. Why don't they.

A lot of cruisers go up to heavy, I don't understand the argument against it. Super heavy is a bad idea.

The $$$$ is at heavy. Hence cruiser gets drained.

it also has to do with the perception that the guys at cruiserweight aren't good enough to fight at heavyweight, so why pay attention to them? a few years ago the cruisers got love with mormeck, wayne Braithwaite and oneil bell.

None of the top CW are signed by American Promoters so they don't get coverage in the states but they are some of the best fights you'll see big enough to have power to change the fight and small enough to give a good workrate

Yea put a title on the line and they will now they all fight to get a shot at a klits brother.

Then half the guys just can't compete because of the size difference.

Not arguing more of a question what's going on at cruiserweight, why doesn't tv follow it, what r some big fights coming up

How can you say cruiserweights aren't good enough. They r probably more skilled then heavyweights but just don't have the size to compete.

What r some good cruiserweight fights to watch past and present?

Anyone else think Sergey Kovalev should try his hand at cruiserweight sometime in the near future?
