I lot of people hates on Conor too, it comes with the trash talk. IMO the difference in this case is that Conor is charismatic and Covington isn't, plus Irish (real Irish) is way cooler than American

Why is this?

Because he speaks to the lowest common demeanor. He's not trying to be witty or insult people in creative ways, he's just doing his best to be as offensive as possible. He's like a youtube fail video or something, something that tries to garner a lot of likes by being obnoxious, like that meme pizza video - any attention is good attention. He's completely classless The fact that people are eating it up makes me truly sad for humanity.

As far as his fights goes: he's a boring but effective fighter, and is right now a top contender. So don't get blinded by his pathetic acts, Covington is a fighter to watch out for.
