WHY does UFC not pad records?

They do look at Conor. Got TS off #19 sever. Fought literally no top 10s for title shot.
You're so obsessed.

Conor got the title shot when he beat the #5 ranked Porier, but he asked for another fight which ended up being Siver(he asked for much harder fights) in between as he didn't want to wait so long to fight the winner of Aldo v Mendes as he figured both men would be damaged and take time off.

He then fought Mendes when Aldo pulled out who was actually p4p ranked never mind top 10 ranked.

So you're talking shit, #5 & 2 before his title shot.

Conor has actually fought 3 p4p ranked fighters in his 10 UFC fights, and he's also fought guys at 3 weight classes.

The UFC want's to think that it's above padding records, even though they have fighters like CM Punk fighting an MMA reporter.

There's no such thing as "UFC Level" anymore.
And, they have Mity Mouse and Cyborg as their champions, who are the biggest record fluffers in recorded history. And Is erioualy shit you not that Cyborg is trying to fight Cindy Dandois now, who is synonymous with having the worst stand up we have ever seen in UFC history.

What?

6 of his last 7 wins were knockouts. 5 of them in the first round.

Fuck is wrong with you?
PREACH, BROTHER, PREACH!

Stipe is actually one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC, but some fans don't watch the fights and just spew fantastical bullshit.

They don't fight often enough, by the time they had 10 padded UFC wins they would be retired.

I'm 100% in favor of PRIDE style squash matches.

Stipe vs. MW masked wrestler
Ngannou vs. 1-4 WW plucked from local show

It'd be glorious!

100% this. Stipe's current streak has all exciting fights and a squash match in the Maldonado fight. Not to mention Reem sprinting away for his life.

Floyd fought Conor. Don’t act like a one off debases the whole sport.

People thought Brock was the most exciting heavy weight ever, while all he did was hump dudes or hammer fist them. Stipe tho, he KO's dudes from IN GAURD; dudes that I might mention made fools out of Brock. He also KO's dudes going backwards, forwards, has incredible power, striking and is super well rounded. People still drool over Cain JDS II & III, but what Stipe did yo Ngannou was more impressive, because Ngannou is JDS but better in the areas JDS is great, not to mention 100x more scary.

And this is not trying to be a shit in Brock or Cain post, but it just illustrates the double standard and how incredibly mislabeled and sold short Stipe is. Stipe is the mist under rated heavy weight since Prime Tim Sylvia.

Look at Bellator they always have this squash matches ofr their prospects, at best is a sad mismatch, at worst a shocking upset.

Because giving a guy a 20-0 record in your organization gives him bargaining power. The UFC has built itself on the UFC being the product more than the individual fighters, with a couple exceptions.
Khabib had to go 25-0 before a title shot... an INTERIM title shot... just sayin.

What are you talking about, Most Tuf winners have padded records. Look at Michael Bisping or Forrest Griffin how they slowly build them up by giving them easy opponents

Not a totally terrible idea.
If a top10/15 usually fights 2 top 15 guys a year, make him fight 3 times but one of them is a #40-70(depending on division) jobber , you will most like get more exposure(by being more active) and a good finish(demonstrating the difference in level).
As long as your still fighting the top guys as well I’d see it as a good way to grow the fighters brand.

Maybe a tad morally questionable, but it’s the UFC and they have never put morals ahead of money

I just want to see fighters of roughly equal weight and ability try to finish each other. That's what you get for the most part in the UFC.

To be fair, the Brazilian chick blew out her knee within the first 30 seconds. It's not fair to judge her on that performance.
Watch her other fights, she was always going to be the sacrificial lamb, knee or no knee
