5 losses in a row with 4 of them being TKO.

Does he want him to get CTE if he doesn't already have it?

Dana loves Pride and it's athletes.
He tried bringing Saku in years ago but the old man politely declined.

Ive noticed that WME seems to honor contracts fully.

Gomi could be a company guy. Has he ever turned down a fight ? The UFC has always treated those guys good.

Gomi is just trying to go out on his shield. UFC/WME is cool with that.

Gomi is a legend in Japan and loves fighting. Sadly though I think his days are done, his chin just isn't there anymore and he hasn't evolved at all.

Yeah it's a shame Gomi's career has spiralled, he was great in Pride but that was like 10+ years ago. He doesn't seem to be motivated so much anymore...

He's still got name value but he's no longer a draw, I'm guessing he'll be cut by the UFC

Please Gomi just retire now, enough is enough. Its worrying for his brain health how he keeps getting dropped all the time.

I was actually there at that event when he got knocked out by Lauzon, and it was sad to see, he looked like a punching bag and Lauzon is more of a BJJ guy rather than some slick striker with big power.

Uh you know the UFC can cut fighters whenever they want right?

They don't actually have to give and pay them for their 8 fight contracts...
