Why would you want Conor (or any other fighter for the matter) to earn that kind of money? How does it benefit society? How does it benefit the sport? How does it benefit you personally?
I constantly read people here saying "Conor fought Floyd to earn 100 million dollars" as if it is a good thing, to excuse Conor ducking contenders and not defending for more than a year.
Having that kind of money is nothing but greed, but the worst thing is that his fans don't even get anything from it, they just support it for some reason, even though it's totally immoral and wrong from social perspective, not to mention that it destroys the sport.
It's not just Conor, it's the same thing with Floyd fans and other fans who support this type of fighters and their persona. For some reason they care more about how much money they make rather than the integrity of the sport. Then they openly excuse the ducking and cherry picking because it's "good business".
And yet you probably vote for the capitalist system which promotes inequality and the rich getting endlessly richer. while the masses struggle.
Music industry (among others) case and point...If millions of people are willing to pay their hard earned cash to watch him fight, then why shouldn't he get paid?
He earns what people are willing to pay to see him.
If you paint a picture, and enough people like it and want it and are willing to pay millions to buy it from you, then why shouldn't you get the money?
North Korea is a festering scab on society - but that's what happens to people without asholes...
Since when are fight purses about benefiting society? These guys could get kicked in the head and be disabled for life, for your entertainment. Why would you want Conor (or any other fighter for the matter) to earn that kind of money? Don't take my dislike for their regime for acceptance of US policy, much of which is poisonous and divisive...North Korea is facing aggressive politics from the USA. This is the cause of all the problems. Despite this, it is still going strong as a community and doesn't give a damn about the false so-called "human rights" ideology and other liberal capitalist instruments. Unfortunately, they can't fight their enemies any other way than being a closed society but I definitely support them in their struggle against the demonic degenerate West and its capitalist greed.

I am not a communist but I support the historic socialist regimes from 1945-89 that we had in Eastern Europe because those regimes were nationalistic and national interests were very important. We had strong armies, we were strong in sport and we were saved from the degenerate Western liberalism and SJWs.
If someone behaved like Conor in those GOOD OLD DAYS he would be questioned by the authorities for bourgeois deviancy and delinquency and beat up by police.
Socialist regimes invested a lot in sports and had very good athletes. Socialism is better for sports than capitalism.
He got a lucky lottery ticket. It's capitalism, and I can't hate it. If you can make it work, make it work. He put himself in the position to make $100M, through hard work and the utilization of many natural gifts, so he absolutely deserves it. Everybody else is jealous, yes, but also motivated to succeed.
You're being invaded right now. Might wanna put down your Marxism 101 study guide and do something useful.I am not a communist but I support the historic socialist regimes from 1945-89 that we had in Eastern Europe because those regimes were nationalistic and national interests were very important.
