Why did GSP lie/claim that Anderson weighed 230 pounds as a reason why he wouldn't move up to MW?

Who cares if GSP fought Thales Leites? Can you imagine what you retards would say if GSP did what Silva did? Imagine he fought at MW but refused to fight Silva. You guys would go off on GSP disparaging him non stop for doing what you praise Silva for.

Silva did it because his division was a wasteland with literally zero contenders. GSP was in the most stacked division in the UFC with constant contenders.

Silva handpicked his opponents for easy wins, he admitted he would never fight a champion from another weightclass ... unless they were smaller than him.

Lol ducking silva to fight Dan hardy and koschek 2 was definitely a career enhancer. again the question stands, why was gsp too scared to go up one weight class unlike silva

GSP is expected to fight one of the GOATs at the time in a higher weight class. Gets shit on for not doing so.

Anderson fought the amazing Griffin and Irvin. Ducked Jones and Shogun but it's ok.

Anderson would have made GSP tap to strikes again in the 1st round and GSP knew it. That's why GSP ducked Andy.

My friend- a fighter cannot duck someone who is not in their weight class. In 2013, GSP came on the Joe Rogan show, and said he would fight Anderson Silva at 170 pounds. In response- Ed Soares said that Silva cannot make 170, and would fight GSP at a Catchweight or 185 pounds. So, by your logic, when Jones was willing to fight Silva at one time in 2012, and Silva declined- that means Silva ducked Jones as well? Silva replied that he did not want to move up and fight Jones, when Jones said in 2012 that he would fight Anderson Silva in a superfight for the LHW title.

GSP said a couple of times (even on a Canadian tv show), that he would fight Silva at 170 pounds. You cannot duck a fighter not in your weight class. You can only say that GSP ducked Silva, if Silva was willing to come down to 170. I can flat out say that Mighty Mouse ducked Dillashaw, because Dillashaw wanted to cut to 125 and face him for the Flyweight Title, and Mighty Mouse refused. That is what you call a duck.

When did Silva go up and fight the champ of the weight class above him? Koscheck > Thales Leites

Why was Silva too scared to challenge the champ of the weight class above him?

Who was also likely abusing steroids because he appeared to have needles in his house caught on camera and was actually caught later.

Lol the entire scope and flow of events, after all of gsps decision title defenses, combined w Andersons title defenses, at the time had come to a critical point where the consensus was, we had seen all we need to see of title defenses and these two titans needed to fight Ina super fight. The ufc, how rogan, sherdog, the fans, the bookies, Vegas, and the casual fans were calling for it.

AND GSP MADE EXCUSES AND PUSSED OUT.

Why can't you just admit it lol

For the same reason you won't admit that by the same standard Anderson, Jones, Aldo, Hughes, Barao, Mighty Mouse, Liddell, Franklin and just about every other UFC champion pussed out.

Because in every case its a professional decision based on long term earnings. Pusses and cowards never make it through the first years of beginning MMA, when everyone beats you in sparring, when you're bruised and battered every day.

Its as nonsensical as saying Gates pussed out by not joining Apple (or vice-versa, depending on which you think was dominant) - its about money.

So you choose. Either GSP, Anderson, Jones, Aldo, Barao, Liddell, Mighty Mouse are all cowards and pusses, or none of them are. Because none of them went up and fought a current heavier champion. But if you're calling them cowards and pusses, I hope you've fought in the cage at their level, because it'd be pretty pathetic if you hadn't.

You sound like guys you hear in the bar saying some NFL quarterback can't throw a football or read a play, when the only football they ever played was a year in high school, and most of them probably sat on the bench most of the time even at that level. Go out and fight in the UFC, become a champ and then go up and challenge a heavier current champ, and then you'll have standing to say someone who doesn't do that is a coward. Until then you're criticizing people for not doing what you don't do yourself, and that is always pathetic.

People really can't understand the concept that everyone's body is different.Silva has said plenty of times he gains weight very easily and getting in shape weight falls off very easy. He's been 192 two weeks out from fights before, the guy loses weight fast when in camp and gains it fast when he isn't.How is this not really simple to understand? In great shape he's 200 tops. For a guy who can easily gain and lose weight walk around weight means nothing to me.

Nick Diaz wasn't too scared to fight Anderson. Gsp tho....
GSP was always worried about his legacy.
Nick Diaz has always been concerned with his bank account
Not saying either is wrong or scared, just pointing out what he did.
