People say there aren't many natives left but there are lots in northern Canada and they all have 5 kids and are the fastest growing group. Between 1996 and 2006, the native population grew by 29%, and from 2006 to 2011 it grew another 20%.

They legally own most of Canada because there were no treaties and one day will take it back. A lot of them are militant and just waiting for the right moment to strike. In 1999, Canada carved out a new province called Nunavut and give it as appeasement, but don't think it will stop there. Standing Rock was nothing compared to what will happen in 50-100 years.

You're right. Unfortunately you don't have any sort of an Army/Navy/Marine Corp to speak of so I can definitely see your Govt getting taken over by 10,000 rogue Natives. Good Luck, eh?!

Let's do the math. They have 1.4 mil out of a population of 34 million people. Canada's overall population is projected to decline while native population grows at 20-29% (and 45% if you count mixed blood peoples).

The population of Native Americans is very small due to actions by Europeans.

The few Native Americans live in poverty and don't have the resources to pursue a fighting career.
