Why aren't there heavier women divisions in the UFC?

Ronda would be in the bbw division

Why did Mackenzie Dern miss weight again?

Man, I hate to break it to you. A little part of you is gonng to die inside when I tell you this. I know I did when I found out. But that chick in the red underwear is not Gina Carano. It’s some online Maxim model or something that looks very similar to Gina. I know, it’s heartbreaking. I’m sorry. Thoughts and prayers.

we dont need to see no fatties jump ing around in the octagon. mackenzie gets a pass from me tho

Take you fat fetish elsewhere, plenty of porn sites cater for you sick freaks

You can see fat chicks fighting all over the place.

Have you seen the UFC rankings for 145? Neither has anyone else because there has never been any. Let's have a top ten at 145 before we discuss 155

Because fat women will have no KO power, be slow as shit, and the fights won't be entertaining at all.

It's nothing like male heavyweight.

So you're saying it would be exactly like the WMMA Divisions we currently have except for being slow as shit? IDK I think the heavier divisions we'll see many more KO's and the fights will be more entertaining than the pitty pat punching shit we see now. Cyborg is the only women currently in the UFC that will inflict any damage on her opponents and can KO them at any time.

Well to put it in perspective, Venus Williams is 145 lbs, making her a 125 or 135 lber. And Serena is 165 lbs, putting her in range of dehydrating to the 145 lb weight class. Women can't build muscle like men can. So, there's not a wide range of weight; it's pretty much dictated by height. A 6' woman is fighting at 135 or 145. That's equivalent to a 6'5 guy. You're not getting women in shape that can't make 145 until you start getting huge girls like 6'2"+, and that's like being a 6'8" dude. Really, really rare; most HWs are muscled up shorter guys and women can't do that. There's just not any 6'2"+ girls doing MMA. You'd have a division with like 1 athlete.

Better question.

Why are there women divisions in the UFC to begin with?
Because Rowdy Ronda Rousey used her dominant fighting skills and sexy feet to woo Dana White, and in turn got to display her skills on MMA’s biggest stage.
