Why are most fans forcing themselves to believe Usman is a boring fighter overall?

Unlike most of the hatewagon jumpers, I actually watched all of his UFC fights and he has 2 snoozefests at best, 3 at most, including the Maia fight. But its not easy to fight exciting against Specialists like Maia, is Prime Anderson-Masvidal-Rory etc. boring fighters too?

And some people actually compare him to Fitch, not sure if even serious lol, a boring fight against someone like Maia and he's the black Fitch now? (Who made a career out of snoozers unlike Usman who JUST broke into top5 level)

Why are people jumping into conclusions this quickly? Give him some chance ffs.

His wrestling is no joke, and he's strong as hell. Some of his fights have been decent, some have been coma-inducing.

He doesn't help himself with all the excuses after his fights, either.

But he has shown flashes of excitement, here & there.

Those "snoozers" are not even that bad, though. When I say snoozer, I mean fights that weren't particularly exciting. Usman's snoozers are not that bad, not Thompson vs. Woodley level for example

Yeah, literally no one is doing this.
It's not like they've been riveting, action packed, high risk fights and we're all just deluding ourselves into thinking it's none of those things cause we be raycis n sheiit or something. The fact is, his fights have been none of those things. Boring is boring, there's no mental deception involved, I can tell when something doesn't grip me.

I've only seen three of his fights, the first which was a quick KO and the other two which were incredibly boring.

I haven't dismissed him as a complete bore yet, but I feel he had plenty of chances to do more on the feet against Maia than he did last night and he didn't go for it. Now that he's edging closer and closer to a title shot, he's probably only gonna play it more safely, not less.

I don't blame him for the Maia fight because that's how you have to beat Maia but he's pretty boring in general.

It is kind of weird that between all of the boring fighters in UFC, the ones who are being talked about the most are the ones who fought and beat Maia (Woodley, Colby, Usman)
