Why are more fighters/free agents going to Bellator from the UFC instead of going to UFC from BMMA?

Because the UFC is letting them go. They don't have to. Bellator won't. The guys Bellator is signing they are paying more because the fighters are worth more to Bellator than they are to the UFC. Even Bellator knows UFC is THE promotion.

UFC has ten times as many good fighters as Bellator so it makes sense more go from UFC to Bellator

Wouldn't it also make sense that "THE promotion" would also be pulling up prospects from the B league? They should be trying to sign any hw/lhw with potential they can at this point.

Rory has already voiced his displeasre. Bader didn't leave for money, neither did Moose.

Rory thought he should get more and BFC offered him a sponsor heavy deal. But you need to fight often for those deals to pay off. Rory is upset how infrequently hes fightinf. Sadly on top of that Spike is done in Jan and gets re branded. Sponors naturally will be hesitant.
