Why are all the best mma fighters from the USA?

If USA had more interest in soccer we would dominate. Its pretty safe to say that. Look at our college level athletes

If rest of the world had interest in American sports then US wouldn't be as dominant as well. American sports are incredibly stale.

Any proof there? Even with the ones that have failed. There are still plenty of fighters from the USA that dominate and completely out class fighters from other nations
any proof that brazilians have failed more tests?

Pretty sure it’s played all over the world. Why don’t you use google and find out for yourself?

Because it’s not my retarded thread it’s yours. Nobody gives a fuck about baseball outside America and using it as some sort of evidence is dumb

It's not a global sport. Just like most American sports, majority of the world doesn't care about it.

Then what is the point of all the events held outside the U.S.?

The times have changed and athletes age. All the best fighters from 10 years ago are getting old.

Aldo, Anderson, Fedor, Big Nog, Shogun... all getting older and some retired.

Population size, popularity of the sport and availability of training and free time to dedicate to training.
Good call. There's many factors, you could make a list.
  1. MMA is very popular in the US hence many ppl train.
  2. Most MMA gyms/camps are in US. (related to #1)
  3. Wrestling (very useful for MMA) is part of the education system.
  4. Huge population - huge talent pool.
  5. Wealthy nation - people have the $ and time to train.
  6. The success of American MMA fighters motivates new generations to train - which in turn deepens the talent pool and the process re-enforces itself.

A number of reasons. Looking from the perspective of someone not from America.

1 - US has much more of a culture of sport for youngsters, both in and out of school.

2 - Wrestling in school. One of the cores of MMA available widely, with high quality coaching from an early age.

3 - Numbers. If you have 100 people competing for 1 thing, the best of the crop will be better than if you have 10 people competing for it.

4 - Money. There is far more money put into sport, including at school level, than in other countries.

5 - Location. UFC is an American organisation that trades primarily inside the US. American athletes have to sacrifice far less to compete.

Then what is the point of all the events held outside the U.S.?

Money and exposure. Casuals are always likely to attend even if they aren't avid followers. They're hoping to break into foreign markets though even in Brazil where you can say MMA is somewhat popular, it's still a miniature sport.

Seems kinda Hateful - will allow it...

Look at all the top UFC guys in the present and also in the past. Most are American. It seems to be the same in boxing. Why is this?

It seems in general that USA produces better athletes in most sports. Is it because the US funds athletes more than other countries? I mean the only other country that really produces any good fighters is Brazil and it has come to light that most Brazilian fighters failed USADA testing.

Why is it that most other countries can’t really reach the standard of skills and toughness that USA fighters have? Will it ever change? It would be nice if other countries could produce fighters who could keep up with the American guys.

No

Being an american fighter mean have basically every possible external advantage in UFC, simple as that

Then you need personal talent of course, but at equal level fighter A got it easier than fighter B

I'm actually surprised USA does'nt dominate MORE

White Americans fell in love with MMA over boxing. Which is why boxing currently has no White American stars or champions.

I thought fighting was in everyones DNA lol.
