Mig Jord would be at least be as good as a healthy prime Wad or most likely better. In other words he would wreak mayhem all over this sorry ass league.

He shot 33% from 3. He was a great shooter and I doubt it would have really taken that much(to the point of deteriorating the rest of his skills) to become more of a threat.

The first half of Kobe's career, his 3 point shooting is somewhat similar to Jordan's career. 1-3 attempts per game. The game started to change and Kobe went from 1-3 to 4-7.

In fact Jordan for the years(5) that he had his most 3pa (1.9-3.6) he shot .352 - .500. Imo he could have adjusted to todays game and would be a bigger threat from 3. Judging by his high attempt years he would only need to add 1-3 attempts(and stay at that 35%+) to match guys like Kobe, James, Durant, etc.

Also by being more of a threat from the outside it opens up the floor for him to do his thing.

Lol at all of these guys who never saw prime Jordan play that think he wouldn't be as good in today's NBA. He went to the rim at will with some of the best centers in NBA history roaming the paint but he'd struggle in today's game where everyone just hangs out 23 ft from the basket and chucks 3's? Between the spaced floor, faster pace, no hand checking, and almost total lack of good big men I think his numbers would be better than they were when he played - those two years in the late 80's when he averaged 37 and 35 on over 50% shooting would probably be the norm

Prime MJ averages at least 35ppg in today's league. Likely closer to 40. Would probably get a ton of assists off of penetrate n dish as well. Hell, Steve Kerr might be an AS just off being fed from MJ/Pipp with today's style of play plus a friendly whistle.

    Suicide needs a Faust intervention.

@faustian by whatever he wants, be it first round KO, or if Faust wants to carry it for the fans, he cruises to an easy UD even if it was to happen in suicides back yard.

Exactly. Folks either don't remember, or weren't alive or old enough to remember that if you were to chuck 3's like they do in today's game, they would have been benched and called an extremely selfish player.

Everyone's offense back then was designed to get to the basket.
