We keep hearing over and over Patrick Cummins had 40 to 50 fights cancelled or turned down because fighters didn't want to face him --- yet he wasn't in the UFC until now.

Who were these fighters? Which organizations? When was this?

Where is the investigative journalism to double check some of these claims?

He's such a feared fighter that no major organization wanted him so he had to find work in a coffee shop. Ever heard the expression "he's too good for his own good"?

Fedor was signed up to fight him but M-1 wanted to co-promote.

By that logic, Fedor would have been a coffee server in Russia and never entered MMA. They have coffee in Russia, right?

I really doubt all these regional fighters even scout their opponents that closely. If Henry Cejudo who is an olympic gold medalist is getting fights on the regionals then..

I dated a Russian girl for about a month about five years ago. We went out to the show once and she didn't know what popcorn was because they didn't have it in Moscow.

Cejudo fights at 125-135. Larger division with more fighters. He also fights on Legacy cards which are pretty high exposure for regional guys trying to make a name.

This info came out in August. It isn't like the UFC was just grabbing random ## 52 and running with it.

So you think this guy was training with all these top level guys just for the fuck of it, and they weren't trying to get him fights?

He has 6 fights in less than a year, only 2 have been with Legacy. Your point about the smaller weights is probably true, though.
