He is not listening. In his world his man did this just to make money. Also he avoided the UFC somehow because the competition was weak. Even though some of his rivals came to the company and got their asses fucking kicked.

Fedor. He was always the underdog. Jones is always at an extreme advantage. He also roided and has cheated in every single win he's had in the UFC. Fedor was always the smaller man taking on the bigger challenge. Jones always seeks the smaller challenges.

Yeah, but you forgot that Jones never fought anyone bigger than him! Plus, eye pokes!

Jon is more impressive because he is better at fighting than Fedor is.

You just set the record for the single most mistakes made in a post in the history of this website. Congratulations.

Jones' greatest win is over a guy who's best win is Big Foot lol.

His second best win is over a guy who's best win is over Glover fucking Teixeira

Finishing cormier > anything fedor ever did in the ring.

Cro cop was always beatable and nog had been beaten by a MW in Hendo (same with fedor years later).

Fedor always looked beatable, the fight with Fujita and hunt etc. They weren't skilled fighters.

Fedor was great for his time but Jones is just a freak and even I can't really deny anymore that he's the greatest ever.

Only a total moron would think Mirko was in his prime during his UFC run.

It's funny how every decade or so a new fighter comes along that shertards deem the "GOAT." Then the previous guy they had pegged as the GOAT fades and they jump off his bandwagon faster than a roach running from the lights.

Fedor easily. The dude went out there each and every time to straight murder you. Jon Jones isn't even half the killer Fedor was. He doesn't have the same intensity or fight with the same fury. Fedor constantly pushed forward and went after the finish at every opportunity. Jon Jones just sort of picks his shots and dances around until he gets lucky and/or sees an opening.

Not to mention Fedor was tiny compared to most of his opponents and had a huge size disadvantage, yet he still absolutely dominated. And he fought in a tougher era with tougher rules, where it was much more difficult to win. Jon Jones goes in every single time with a huge size/strength/reach advantage, in a softer era with softer/safer/watered down rules. That's not nearly as impressive. Not to mention he's a known cheater in more ways than one.

Fedor is the true MMA GOAT and will always be the one and only GOAT. It's just unfortunate that he continues to fight well out of his prime.

Do you think he should have found some way to fight in the UFC just to set the record straight and cement his legacy?

UFC fans wanted Fedor to join the org more than practically anyone else. Could have made a fortune, but he didn't seem to want what should have been easy money.

Great fighter but some of his decisions regarding the UFC seem a little suspicious.

Everyone that beat him fought in the UFC, Kohsaka, Werdum, Henderson and Mittrione. He may be the biggest Pride belt holder to avoid the UFC.

    Doesn't that raise suspicions?

Jones even recently beat Henderson in a grappling match.

And beat Cormier twice who beat Henderson easily.

Look at how ez Matt got underhooks…that would be a jones trip into hellbows for a stoppage. Fedor even had to cheat against lindland by grabbing the ropes to prevent being taken down.

Back then pride had the significantly better HW division. It was literally common belief on sherdog that anyone in prides top 10 could come over and win the UFC HW belt. Also Fedor was making decent money in pride and the UFC wasn't offering these big paydays like they are now. So financially nor in terms of competition did it make sense for Fedor to need the UFC at that time

    Not a good comparison.

Arona was Fedor's 4th fight. He was still not as well rounded as he was during his Pride reign. He did lose rounds to Arona, but after that he didn't concede one for about a decade. If we consider earlier fights then we could say Jones lost a round to Stephan Bonnar and not in his 4th but his 8th fight :)

Jon got his ass kicked by Gus right in his prime. Took more damage in that fight alone than Fedor did in 10 years.

    Cheers.

Jones got taken down by Gus, who was far from being an olympic wrestler, lol. Gus also stopped several TD's and got back up to his feet when Jones took him down.

But don't worry about any of that. Jones got his arm hyperextended by Vitor Belfort of all people. Fedor would have taken his arm home.

    Cheers.

I know most people would pick Jones, shit, I might too. But here is why I think Fedor would be more impressive.

Fedor fought in an org designed to simulate real fighting and scored the.accordingly. UFC is more point fighting oriented.

Fedor fought for food. Jones fights for coke money. Fedor by hunger, unbreakable will.

Lmao only one judge of three thought Bonnar won the 3rd round, which was ridiculous. Jones may have slowed down, but he still won the round 10-9.

Also I think Fedor lost one round (i think the first) to cro cop, but I haven't watched the fight in ages.

It was a war, and both did alot of damage. Gus could barely stand up after rounds 4 and 5. Jones still won the fight, and its one of his best fights.

Gus has incredible takedown defense, and this fight was the exception to Jones usual fights. Jones usually gets takedowns with ease against high level wrestlers at that. This was also the first time Jones was ever taken down (which he got up almost immediately), in 18 fights. Fedor was taken down by arona, Fujita, mark coleman (4 times), Kevin randleman (twice), Noguieria, and bigfoot silva.

Yeah but Jones didn't tap. He has incredible heart and submission defense. I dont know how you can point out the fight where Jones got his arm hyper extended, didn't tap, went on to outstrike top 10 striker TRT Vitor for 4 rounds, and came back to submit him; and then use that fight as a negative against Jones...

Remember Fedor's fight against Mark Hunt, Fedor was unable to get the armbar and was almost submitted himself. Of course fedor escaped the kimura, and came back to submit mark hunt with a kimura. Its considered a fight that shows fedors championship heart and skillset, but when Jones does the same thing its used against him.... Also Mark hunt is not proficient on the ground. He has 0 submission wins and 6 submission losses. The fact he was able to escape fedors armbar, and get in side control on fedor and almost secure a kimura says alot. Alot of people said that if a BJJ black belt was in Mark Hunts position that fedor would've tapped since Mark Hunt didn't have the technique right. At least Vitor Belfort is a legit BJJ Black Belt, and almost submitted Jones.

Short fat fedor who fights at heavyweight versus tall roided with longest reach advantage that hides at LHW.

    Answer is obvious.
