The road warriors
Disco Inferno, G.I. Bro, Oz, and The Diamond Studd
On 2nd. thought......I guess you have to put the man that defeated and humiliated HHH.....to send him packing to the WWF, in which HHH was never heard from again.....while this man then evolved into the greatest wrestler to ever have a non-existent, German Gimmick in the history of Pro Wrestling....BERLIN!!!!!
I see some dudes mentioned as jokes, but Alex Wright, Disco, Hugh Morris and La Parka were awsome.
Hard to go with just four but I would have to have the following in the conversation...
My list is the same.
Honorable mention to black Scorpion.
Big Van Vader
Thing is that's how just about everyone gets over. Undertaker, Austin, Bret Hart, Hogan, Warrior, Vader, whoever. They got over by winning all the time.
There are the rare guys like Savage and Jake who can get over win or lose, but 99% of the time, you get over by winning.
Go back and watch Nitro in '96; DDP was on every week, beating someone clean with the Diamond Cutter and he was just as green as Goldberg. If you let anyone win every week on TV they will get over
That's why it's so annoying when the modern WWE brings guys in, has them lose three of their first five matches and then goes 'Oh see, what works other places doesn't work here blah blah blah'. What worked for those guys in other places was they won. It's not rocket science.
The guys WWE does have get over, like Cena, are over because they always win.
Could easily replace a couple of those with disco inferno and psychosis
Crazy that Alex Wright was a cruiserseight, that dude was legit 6'3", bigger than the past couple HW champions from either brand.
As to the central question, Flair, Sting, Goldberg and an NWO T-shirt
An interesting point. I think that's what made him quite spectacular too - he moved quite like a cruiserweight, but he hand these enormous limbs flying all over the place.
He was a big guy. More personality he could have been jake the German snake
I can only imagine what Ed Leslie did for Hulk Hogan to get an automatic job and decent push wherever Hogan ended up. I'd really like to know about that friendship. Was Leslie just great at stroking Hogan's ego or was there a legitimate human friendship between the two?
With "nWo" carved into the side of the mountain.
Separate names with a comma.
