I think Chael crushes conor. While Chael can be a little cheesy sometimes, but he's way more articulate. He's also better when it comes to doing interviews. Conor can be funny and has his moments, but for the most part he just comes off as a douche that brags about spending money.

Sonnen by far, anybody that voted otherwise is just a Conor nuthugger and/or only been into mma for a couple years.

Chael is GOAT.

Chael and it's not close.

Fucked up Brian Stann and delivered his lines flawlessly.

Then there is the bus and the carrot. Come on son...

for pre-prepared zingers... Chael, for off the cuff shit talk.... Conor

Both recycle lines and besides that say nothing original. It's a draw.

If you mean phony WWE style trash talk that makes zero sense then Chael. If you're referring to actual mental warefare to get into their opponents head then Conor is several times better.

Dont mean shit if you cant back it up. Sonnen was false bravado

I like both but unlike Conor, Chael cannot back up his words.

When did shit talking become important in MMA?

If I remember right the UFC use to go out of their way to promote fighters as intelligent, college graduates (Chuck, Franklin, Randy). It wasn't to hard either because a decent amount of fighters were collegiate wrestlers.

I always got the feeling the UFC tried to stay away from the Tank Abbott types.

Conor.

He backs his up far more often than Chael ever has or will. When you know a guy is talking to keep his name around, it's never comes across to me as anything but weak.

Sonnen speaks better while Conor talks badly but backs it up.

Conor "I back it up!! I back it up!!!" McGregor

When they realized that their fanbase doesn't like MMA.

Sonnen all day.

The question wasn't "Who backs up their shit talk better?" you dopes.
