Who had hardest and most successful start to their MMA career?

the girls Ronda beat were not cans in WMMA. They were the best. Don't know why you think Tate is a can? 15-1 Kaufman?

Yeah and they're now retired now or out of top 5 for a reason. They were cans. Also she never once beat a fought a striker until finally getting exposed. Rousey was a one dimensional overhyped overrated can fed fraud.

Sokoudjou for soakin it in with Lil Nog and Arona,

and Paulo Thiago for being a nightmare to AKA.

BJ fought

Din Thomas
Caol Uno x2
Pulver
Serra
Gomi
Hughes

In his first 9 MMA fights

I'd talent wise BJ fought the more technical guys at the start of his career. But Lesnar fought the dangerous ones. When out of everyone you fought (excluding the can in debut) and Randy Couture is the LEAST dangerous guy you've fought in 9 fights, you've fought some killers.

uhm... they already had many fights by the time they fought Ronda.. They arent in their 20s anymore bro.. And btw Kaufman is a boxer. IDK why you are being so nitpicky.. Ronda isnt a great striker but that doesnt mean anything.

Lesnar became HW champ with 2 defenses (tied the record until Stipe)

He also got a title shot after only 2 UFC fights where he went 1-1 and 3 fights total.

No one else has ever gotten that opportunity so its nearly as impressive as someone that had to pay their dues

Lesnar would be up there.i think Hong Man Choi was supposed to fight him in his second pro fight or something like dat but it got canceled.Yes Brock was roided gorila but fought some great fighters, killers with almost no mma experience himself at the time

Dan Henderson was 2-0 when he entered UFC 17 and beat Carlos Newton, and Allen Goes who were both well respected at the time and won.

Lesnar for all the obvious reasons + diverticulitis.

Pawel Nastula made his MMA debut against Big Nog in 2005. That is a crazy debut fight.
First name to come to mind for me as well. He fought Big Nog, Aleks E., and Josh Barnett all within his first four fights. It’s going to be hard to top that.

He wasn't successful but Pawel Nastula in his first four mma fights went had to fight Big Nog, Barnett and Aleks
