which fighter keeps proving you wrong?

Anthony Pettis. Keep thinking he’ll be back any day now.

Fabricio Werdum. Thought Fedor and Cain would beat him. Thought he’d beat Stipe and Volkov.

Bj Penn. Can’t help but want to believe... still.

Hate to say it. but mcgruber. keeps proving me wrong.
thought aldo would wreck him.
thought eddie would wreck him.
NOT.

Conor McGregor. I don't respect his record, because 50% of the people he fought were either 3-and-something in the UFC or short-notice opponents.

However, he won when he had to win against whoever was in front of him, and kept his hype train moving. It is not easy to do. A lot of hype trains have been derailed.

Uriah Hall. Thought he would be champ.

Yeah that made me sad. I think we all got caught up in the TUF hype.

I still maintain to this day that he needs Chael in his corner. Say what you will about Chael as a fighter, he brought out Hall's ruthless streak and kept him motivated. That's been missing, or at least inconsistent in his last few fights.

I have to agree with those who said McGregor and Elkins, and I'll add Sam Alvey to the list. Dude looks like he doesn't belong in the cage, but he has thunder in his hands.

There's a young kid from Michigan that has proved me wrong 50 times! His name is Floyd something or other...
