For me it's Anderson, after he failed I lost hope in all fighters except
Machida because it was bullshit, imo.
The Jones one really made me upset. Was REALLY looking forward to that fight at the time.
Machida. Even though it wasn't really bad like roids.
Once Machida happened I numbed myself to the fact that most guys are doing it. JDS would have knocked me for 6 if Machida didn't fail a test.
Wasn't machidas kinda iffy?
I think andersons was probably the biggest suprise so far
No Brock in the list??
Anderson's was a huge disappointment.
If Frankie Edgar pops for something I'm done with MMA lol.
If all you are doing is protein shakes and fish oil, you're probably not playing sports at a professional level. I've accepted long ago that all of my favorite athletes are on something. Don't worship them like heroes and you won't be disappointed when they fail.
None surprise me and they especially do not hurt me because I don't know these guys so why am I am going to be emotionally invested?
I am surprised that only this many have been caught yet to be honest with the random testing. The way the tested before and after the fight
was a joke because all you need is 11 days notice and you can pass a piss test and even now they don't do enough randoms because
it would cost a fortune to test in my opinion every fighter on the roster once per month on an unknown day. At least once every 2 months
Overeem broke my heart, never saw that coming.
Look he even wore a shirt.
LOL at "hurt you the most." Fucking wimps.
Anderson Silva, but it is ok now, it was only rehab meds for the leg and dick pills for his dick.
None of them hurt me. Fuck USADA. I do not consider them an authority on anything. They suck at what they do.
Machidas was the biggest fuck up. Tested positive for basically red bull and banned one of the more unique character/fighters int he ufc.
Barnett being loved and cherished by the masses still baffles me.
Silva was the worst for me personally. I had so much respect for Anderson and was a huge fan of his but the failed test tarnished every aspect of his career...a career that I felt was the most impressive of any MMA fighter.
Only GSP failing a test would surprise and disappoint me more.
Fuck Silva! (I'm still bothered by it.)
Nate the Great. Most guys were doing TRT anyways but he was singled out by Dana and it really got blown out of proportion imo. Shitty it happened to such a nice dude
Although, it did lead to Nate finishing Woodley in Strikeforce, which was rather satisfying at the time
I am a huge fan of BJ, but to be fair, he went to a special clinic, and was caught using an IV outside competition. IVs Are banned by USADA, because they are used to flush through the system so drugs can not be detected. Not very different than many of the other guys took.
Anderson Silva was so unexpected, it was very sad
