In series of 10 fights, whodo you favor over peak Hagler in MW more than in 5 fights of 10?
Peak Roy Jones? C.Monson? Leonard? Hearns? Maybe peak Hopkins,Toney, SR Robinson, Duran, Oscar? Others?

It's crazy Leonard came out of a 3 year retirement to go the close dec distance with Hagler then win a LHW world title right after. Crazy talent that is.

If Hearns reach didn't help him shit against Hagler, hard to see it being a major factor for Monson.

Andre Ward would have been a very interesting match up, though obviously Ward would have the size advantage as a guy who bullies/pushes in the clinch. To see how he would handle Hagler's explosiveness would be fun.

It's really hard to bet against a prime RJJ too.

Robinson, maybe Leonard, and Jones Jr. That might be it and I wouldn't be that confident in any of those three.

Hopkins and Monzon would definitely have a shot. I'm not sure Toney's workrate was high enough at MW. Guys like McCallum and Kalambay could give him serious problems with their boxing ability. Don't think Nunn was durable enough. Charles might have been too young at the weight. Hard to say anything too definitive about Burley without more film. LaMotta's style would play right into Hagler's strenghts. Golovkin likely doesn't have the overall craft and workrate to win a war with him.
