At this point Wilder doesn't get into the HOF or rank on ATG lists. You need to prove yourself to gain those accolades and he hasn't done that yet.

This is a boxing message board. Most don't need a skewed history lesson.

agree...that was my point all along. except that i don't know you can take credit from wilder for not fighting the guys of this era...he wants the fights..was even willing to go to russia for PEDvetkin. it's not his fault AJ is ducking and PEDvetkin is dirty.

but disagree with you about lebron and jordan.

Nonsense, he fought average fighters until Ortiz, his 40th fight. No doubt wlad ducked wilder as well! Laughable trying to give wilder credit for someone he never fought. He may be up for the big fights now but that’s 40 fights in. Only 1 of the 2 champs has gone out there to fight the best guys, but you’re way to biased to accept that

Jordan was a high percentage threat at every range, and if you didn't change your lineup to put your best defensive player against him he'd put up 40-50 points. On top of that he was the best defensive guard in the league, and those, together, made the opposing team's guards doubly ineffective on offense. Add in that you could physically be much rougher on defense and it makes the fact that his offensive stats are neck and neck with LeBron more impressive overall.
Plus, he never lost a finals. LeBron lost 6.

Jordans ability to be a threat at every range made his team better as well.

    ______

I hold nothing against Wilder as far as competition goes. I think stylistically he'd have a shot against Joe Louis, and Riddick Bowe. And physically he could present a challenge to Marciano. Factor in a win or two I don't expect and that's still 5-15 or 4-16 against the top 20 HW greats.

people call tyson a bully because he crushed people that he could intimidate but used to fall apart when someone started really giving it back to him.

total bullshit...they called him a bully because they wanted reason to hate him...had nothing to do with who he could and could not intimidate...he was ALWAYS the smaller fighter in the ring...tyson is only about 5-9, 5-10. the was routinely fighting guys who were 6-3, 5-4, 6-5, bigger, stronger etc...so if theyr'e INTIMIDATED by him, it's because they knew he was a bad ass. in other words they had reason to be scared because he was such a great fighter. a lotta guys tried to fight back and just got overwhelmed...because tyson was an overwhelming force in the ring.

wilder didn't duck anybody..they ducked him...when ggg was crying about how the top guys at 160 was ducking him, did you discredit ggg for not fighting the best guys in the div? why would you discredit wilder for not fighting the best guys at hw when they're the ones ducking him?

No ones ducked him, he chose the path of least resistance whilst Joshua chased the belts. Theres a reason why Joshua has 3 belts and has fought tougher competition in half the fights wilder has; it’s because he went after them whilst wilder fought shit. Iya so fckin clear yet you deny it. Laughable bias

so, you're saying wilder ducked wlad, charles martin and parker in order to challenge fury, PEDvetkin, arreola, stiverne and ortiz instead?

jordan didn't win any games...the bulls did...in case you didn't realize, basketball is a TEAM sport....unless you think jordan could beat the sonics, and blazers and suns all by himself.

He didn't try to fight wlad, he didn't unify the belts with Parker. Im not accusing him of ducking, you're the one that likes to accuse fighters of that, Im saying that he didn't try to fight these guys.
You probably think he did because youd suck his cock if you had the opportunity

And as for challenging Fury? Didn't Tyson turn up to his fight to call him out lol. You're delusional pal
