Chuck was bad. Couldnt hang with Pride fighters when he went to visit back when pride was premier org. Couldnt hang when they came over. UFC sucked when tito chuck and randy where the thing. Pride was king.

Pride was better in general at the time but he did knock out Overeem then lost to prime Rampage. That's not bad.

Silly new fanboys. If Chuck was 30 right now with the same exact skill set he had then, he would still wreck the LHW division. Just because an athlete, in any sport, competed before you started watching, doesn't mean they would be any less dominate today. Or that the sport has somehow far surpassed them in 8 years. Chuck had monster power, incredible TDD and was willing to scrap anyone.

You forget Chuck KOed Mezger and Overeem in Pride? Rampage beat Chuck in Pride, but Rampage is also a legend who held multiple belts in his career. Zero shame in losing to Rampage in his prime.

Yeah, most of the UFC events from that era were really boring to me, looking back on them. They made the UFC and MMA look bad. Fighters have gotten a heck of a lot more skillful these days, for the most part.

lol please. Bisping was champ and 1 dimesional okay 2 dimesional guys like hendo almost beat him and were at outside the top 5 but in top 10 of every division. Hendo can stop takedowns (most) and can strike but mostly is a brawler. Chuck was same but had some kicks when he used them and better striker.

Chuck Liddell got old so he's not around anymore. But if you're asking where are the guys like him, they're all over the UFC. He was one of the first great counter punching sprawl and brawlers. Chuck used his wrestling to prevent take downs and/or get up. Then counter punched with power and knocked dudes the F out. Who does that sound like?
