Which are Silva, GSP and Henderson all out of their primes when he did so. What does this mean for his legacy you ask? Absolutely nothing. Means he beat up old cripples and a pregnant Mutant ninja turtle.

Completely missed the point dipshit. Silva is only 3 years older. Bisping is out of his prime as well. Every single win Bisping has means a lot and those 3 grant him MMA MW GOAT status.

Nobody gave a shit when Holmes whopped Ali.

Shit does anyone even know the name of the fighter who retired Tyson?

Im not saying Bisping's victories against these legends are bad but you gotta have some context.

I dont think many people are going to remember Bisping's title reign well. He has been having joke fights and is screwing up the whole division.

Plus, I cactually thought Hendo beat him... which is pretty sad since Hendo is very out of his prime

Bisping is actually in his prime. Atleast he was last year. He looked better in 2016 than he has in his entire career.

Prime isn't an age thing.

Well it depends on how (or when) it ends.

Out of his prime when finally got the gold ?he has never been better than now...MW GOAT?never

So in the end, Bisping is good at beating guys past their prime and ducking top competition.

Bisping is 38, hardly in his prime either.

Hendo had some of his best wins past 40, you can't dismiss primes based on someones age anymore.

Still wish the ref would have prematurely stopped the second Bisping Hendo fight after he landed that H-bomb and went for the follow up.

Not sure if serious

Lol at surviving a SSA recipient / retiree after getting knocked down twice and beat the fuck up, his face looking like a personal pan pizza afterward, a 'victory'. Not to mention he was awarded the decision in his own country and it was very questionable at best

People don't understand context. They simply see a win next to Bispings name and assume he was dominant.

He got lucky to win against Silva and Henderson. Call it a win if you must, but the context of the fights was that he didnt deserve those wins by being a busier fighter. And both wins against fighters outside of their prime and ready to retire.

His only good win lately was Rockhold, but more to Rockhold being careless and cocky instead of due to Bispings skill.

Bispings a sore loser, a sore winner, and the most mediocre champion since Forrest Griffin. Keep ducking legit competition you loser. No one will care when you're gone.

Prime is always an age thing, what else caused Silva's skills to decline? Either you give Bisping credit for continuing to grow as a martial artist or every fighter in history who loses in his 30's or 40's was out of prime.

You can't have it both ways. Silva's wins are not magically worth more because you hate Bisping. The fact is Silva promptly went out and gave Cormier the business on the feet, making him go full GSP takedown spam mode. Whereas Bisping stood up the entire fight and beat Anderson Silva at his own game.
