Whats the verdict on milk?

My first year lifting, I drank 3 or 4 gallons of 2% a week. It was the only way I could get my calories in and has a pretty good macro profile, plus it's delicious. Started at about 180 lbs and in my first year was up to 210ish. I was never a big eater, so I had to get in the nutrition somehow. Now, I don't drink it often, but I feel like it really helped me develop a big appetite over time, now I'm an eating machine. Now I use maybe a half gallon every two weeks, but I use it to finish up my macros at the end of the day if I didn't get enough fats.
 
As it has already been said. Lactose intolerant people will say it is horrible and you should stop it but if you are tolerant, drink it.
