As much as I want to see it, realistically, Lee vs Khabib is not happening any time soon. Mid 2019 at the earliest.

Khabib isn't fighting until November/December. Lee is on a one fight win streak where despite looking impressive, he failed to make weight.

Many here already believe that Lee's skill set would present the most intriguing
challenge to Khabib.

But this is the UFC. So they will have Lee and Poirier face off for an Interim in July/August. They will market it as being a fight that will bring clarity to the 155 list of contenders.....And then despite that, Conor will get the title shot.
